Biothane is an all weather leather alternative. Biothane does not absorb odors and feels nice in hand. When your equipment gets dirty, you can just rinse it off. For stubborn stains rubbing alcohol or a light duty cleaner can be used. It is suggested to do a spot test before applying your chosen cleaner throughout your equipment. Please rinse hardware after exposure to salt water.

By nature black plating is more susceptible to scratching and chipping than other finishes. Over time and with consistent contact you may see the nickel plated base layer.
